What are the excellent performance characteristics of stainless steel cylinder tubes?

The inner diameter of a stainless steel cylinder tube determines the cylinder’s output force. The piston slides smoothly within the cylinder, and the internal surface roughness meets Ra 0.8 µm. The inner surface of the steel tube is hard-chromed to reduce friction and wear and to prevent corrosion. In addition to high‑carbon steel tubes, cylinders are also manufactured from high‑strength aluminum alloy and brass.

What are the characteristics of stainless steel cylinder tubes?

Stainless steel cylinder tubes are manufactured using roll‑forming, which induces residual compressive stresses in the surface layer. These stresses help to seal microscopic surface cracks and inhibit the propagation of corrosion, thereby enhancing surface corrosion resistance, delaying the initiation or growth of fatigue cracks, and improving the fatigue strength of the cylinder body.

A stainless steel pipe for food machinery that effectively prevents loosening.

Stainless steel pipes used in food‑processing machinery in the prior art suffer from the following technical issues: 1) When these stainless steel pipes are sealed with threaded connections and sealing rings, vibrations—particularly under pressure fluctuations within the pipeline—can loosen the threaded joints, leading to damage to the sealing rings and subsequent leakage; 2) In existing designs, when such stainless steel pipes convey fluid media, filters are typically installed to protect valves and instrumentation inside the piping. Over prolonged operation, these filters tend to become clogged, necessitating manual disassembly of the pipeline to replace the filters.

In the food industry, large quantities of steel pipes are required to convey liquids or powders. When seamless steel pipes are used for long-distance transport of liquid fluids such as chemical solutions or water, severe turbulence often develops within the pipeline. This turbulence leads to uneven flow velocities and a sharp drop in pressure, resulting in increased energy consumption and reduced transportation efficiency. Moreover, the transported liquids are typically flammable, making it essential to manufacture stainless steel pipes specifically for food-processing equipment to prevent fires and substantial losses.

A high-strength, durable stainless steel pipe for food-processing machinery.

Most existing stainless steel tubes used in food-processing machinery have simple structures and limited functionality, leading to the following issues: 1) Many of these tubes are monolithic, lacking cleaning ports; over time, residues tend to accumulate inside, making thorough cleaning difficult. 2) Most lack external support structures, resulting in insufficient structural integrity and a tendency to deform or even fracture. 3) These tubes exhibit poor compressive strength, making them prone to damage under external pressure or impact, which significantly shortens their service life.
